Nokia, a name that everyone should remember for its quality and reliability has finally announced its first 2017 Android phone, the China-only Nokia 6, which marks its return to the mainstream mobile market.
Nokia ruled the world of the mobile market with their brand value. But Finnish tech giant faced a very challenging situation because of their worst decision that making windows phone instead of Android. In 2014 it packed up its mobile phone game and sold its business to Microsoft.
Now, Fortunately, At MWC 2017 Nokia will show off four phones: the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6, and P1. It has now confirmed that a special presentation will take place on Sunday 26 February at 4.30pm local time. Nokia invites journalists to "hear about the next exciting chapter in the Nokia consumer story". It will be on this date that it announces new Nokia Android phones, with the devices going on sale shortly after.
There's also likely to be an update to the Nokia 3310. The famous phone of early 20s, running on Android OS. Almost 128 million Nokia 3310 were sold worldwide, making it one of the most successful phones ever. We’ll have to wait until February 26 to see HMD Global’s new iteration of the 3310. The Nokia 6 is a unibody Android Nougat phone, it comes with 5.5-inch display with 1,920x1080-pixel resolution. A 16-megapixel (phase detection, autofocus) rear and 8-megapixel front camera. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor, along with the Adreno 505 GPU, 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM, 64GB of storage and a 3,000mAh battery. Price 249 euros.
Nokia 5 comes with 5.2-inch with 720p display resolution, 12-megapixel rear camera, QUALCOMM snapdragon 430 processor, 2GB RAM. This is most likely the phone known as the Nokia Heart, which has been spotted in GFXBench benchmarks with a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 430 processor, Adreno 505 graphics. Its Price is expected to be 199 euros.
The Nokia 3 will be with potentially a slightly smaller screen and lesser performance than the Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. According to NokiaPowerUser it will feature a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor, Adreno 308 GPU, and 2GB of RAM. Also expect a 5.2- or 5.3in HD screen, 16GB of storage and 5Mp/13Mp front and rear cameras. Price most likely 149 euros.
The Nokia P1 is what's expected to be the upcoming Nokia flagship. P1 will run the Snapdragon 835 processor and launch after MWC 2017. Nokia P1 is very much in the making and coming soon as Nokia's top-end Android phone. It's said to run Android Nougat and come with a 5.3" display with Gorilla Glass 5 and IP57 protection.
Nokia P1 is expected to get 6GB of RAM. A Carl Zeiss 22.6Mp camera could be found at the rear, and a 3,500mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 inside. The Nokia P1 is thought to be priced at around $800 or £634 with 128GB of storage, and $950 or £753 with 256GB.
