Huawei has a very distinct smartphone strategy. Whenever it releases a flagship device, it subsequently goes on to release midrange devices under the same family. Huawei P10 Lite and the P20 Lite were the products of that strategy. Keeping its tradition alive, Huawei is now preparing to release the Huawei P30 Lite.
Earlier today, some press renders of Huawei P30 Lite leaked online. These renders leave almost nothing to imagination. The renders detail a few key features which, if you ask us, can make this phone a stellar midranger.
Premium Build, 3 Cameras
Right off the bat, we can see the heavy influence of P-series flagships phones. A glass sandwich design with a notched display. Can’t say the notch looks okay but hey, we can look past it if the rest of the phone is any good. Again coming back to that notched display, it is a 6.15-inches panel with a resolution of 2312 x 1080.
Moving on the back, we have a typical P-series arrangement. A vertically aligned triple camera array, an LED flash, a traditional fingerprint reader. All of this housed in a flashy glass back.
While the glass on the back may pronounce, Funky, louder than most other phones, the camera system is mature enough. We have a 24MP primary snapper, an 8MP secondary telephoto and 2MP depth sensor. Combine all of them together and we have a midrange camera system that is potentially class leading.
Other details include a Kirin 710 chipset, 128GB of internal storage, and 4/6GB of RAM. Of course all of this information is based on reports and speculations. We won’t have much information until Huawei itself decides to spill the beans.
But what we do know for sure is the price tag. Seeing this is Lite phone, you can expect a price tag of about €369 ($417). The device will be launching sometimes in April.
